Strikers Club Jockey Mode Controls

Oddshot added jockey mode in patch v0.78.0 to give defenders a dedicated defensive stance. Hold the jockey input—default Ctrl on keyboard or left bumper on controller—to focus on the ball during defense and execute defensive blocks. Ball focus can toggle in settings depending on your preferred camera behavior.

Jockey is separate from goalkeeper anticipation stance. Outfield players use jockey to mirror dribblers without diving into reckless tackles—pair with dribbling reads from the attacker's perspective.

• Jockey dash — Jockey + jump; v0.82.0 fixed forward dash when stationary

Activate jockey when closing down dribblers in 11v11—maintain spacing instead of sprinting through the attacker. Combine with poke tackles once timing windows open. Avoid jockey during penalty kicks you are taking; v0.82.0 explicitly fixed jockey interfering with penalties.

v0.78.0 introduced jockey; v0.79.0 and v0.82.0 fixed focus-on-ball sticking online, sliding animations, and penalty interference. Toggle "focus on ball during jockey" in Settings if you prefer manual camera control. Report desync on report system or Discord if focus fails mid-match.
