Strikers Club Football Rules Explained

All Strikers Club football rules: offside, advantage, extra time golden goal, fouls, throw-ins, corners, and penalties in Oddshot's physics sim.

Authentic Match Flow

Oddshot markets Strikers Club as loyal to real football—not an arcade scorefest. Human players experience throw-ins, corner kicks, fouls, offside calls, and penalties without RNG deciding outcomes. Rules shipped iteratively: v0.78.0 added penalties, advantage, and golden-goal extra time; v0.79.0 expanded advantage to every foul; v0.80.2 reworked penalty run-ups.

Offside

Offside applies when attackers position beyond the last defender at pass release—same conceptual model as real football. v0.75.0 stopped auto-dribble triggering while offside, reducing accidental violations. Benched players no longer affect offside checks after v0.80.2 fixes. Defenders should hold line in voice chat during 11v11—there is no automated offside trap assist.

Advantage Rule

When a foul would stop promising attack, play continues if the fouled team benefits—introduced in v0.78.0 and broadened in v0.79.0 to all fouls, not only obvious goal chances. Advantage resolves when a new dribble starts. If nobody touches the ball, v0.80.2 pulls play back to free kick or penalty instead of letting dead phases continue. Card loopholes via position swap were closed in v0.82.0.

Extra Time, Fouls, and Set Pieces

Tied regulation scores trigger golden-goal extra time—first score wins. Throw-ins and corners follow physics with interference zones; v0.75.0 accelerated throw-in barriers and expanded corner blocking. Double-touch rule activates at three players per side (v0.74.1). Study jockey mode for legal defensive challenges without reckless fouls.
